Police are searching for a man who allegedly used his cellphone to film up a woman's skirt in the subway. 

Police say the man followed a 23-year-old woman onto the elevator of the Third Avenue and 149th Street subway station. 

Authorities say once inside, the man squatted behind the woman and placed his cellphone underneath her dress and started recording her.

The woman quickly noticed and the suspect fled.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
