The 2-year-old girl whom police believed had been possibly abducted Sunday has been found safe, and her mother has been taken into custody.
The girl was in the care of her grandmother in an apartment on Bronx Park East when her mother took the girl away.
Witnesses say the incident may have stemmed from an argument.
It's still unknown who has custody of the child, but neighbors say disputes over the girl have happened before.
It's unclear if the girl's mother will be charged.
