A school bus was hit by gunfire in Morrisania Friday afternoon, according to police.
Police have confirmed shots were fired shorty after 2 p.m. at E 165th St and Trinity Avenue.
The bus was parked and picking up kids at the time of the incident. The driver heard the gunfire, and some kids fled on foot, according to police.
Police say two rounds hit a rear panel of the bus and shattered a window.
No injuries were reported.
