The NYPD is currently seeking two individuals who were caught on camera shooting at a car as it drove on White Plains Road early Saturday morning.
News 12 learned that the two suspects were walking together along White Plains Road around 1 a.m. Saturday. They walked away from the surveillance camera’s location, then returned to 3932 White Plains Road, where one of the individuals took a handgun from his sweatshirt and began firing multiple shots toward a moving vehicle.
A parked and unoccupied 2013 BMW SUV suffered damages in the crossfire, and a bullet also struck a second-floor apartment window. The 42-year-old man who was in the apartment was not injured.
People in the neighborhood said they don't feel safe, including one man who says he's been in the area for 35 years and thinks it's the worst it has ever been.
"I really don't feel safe, I've been around here for a while and it's never been like this before," says Tyrone Fox. "You never know who is going to be the next target, you know. It's very, very scary seeing something like this."
