Possible passing showers Friday before mid-July heat settles in for the weekend

Clouds and patchy fog will stick around overnight and into the morning hours, Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says.
Teeling says after the clouds and fog burn off Friday morning, it will turn partly sunny and warmer. There could be a passing shower or thunderstorm Friday evening into Friday night.
The heat and humidity will climb to mid-July levels both Saturday and Sunday. Teeling says both says look to be hazy, hot and humid, with highs well into the 80s on the shoreline and 90s inland. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible heading into Sunday night. It will be much cooler next week.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy with patchy fog. Low of 53.
FRIDAY: Turning partly sunny and warmer. High of 74. Chance of a shower or storm evening into the night.
SATURDAY: Hazy, hot and humid. High of 88.
SUNDAY: Hazy, hot and humid with some thunderstorms possible at night. High of 89.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with scattered showers. High of 75.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny. High of 70.
