Possible passing showers Friday before mid-July heat settles in for the weekend

Clouds and patchy fog will stick around overnight and into the morning hours, Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says.
Teeling says after the clouds and fog burn off Friday morning, it will turn partly sunny and warmer. There could be a passing shower or thunderstorm Friday evening into Friday night.
The heat and humidity will climb to mid-July levels both Saturday and Sunday. Teeling says both says look to be hazy, hot and humid, with highs well into the 80s on the shoreline and 90s inland. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible heading into Sunday night. It will be much cooler next week.
