The Powerball and the Mega Millions jackpots continue to grow and New Yorkers are hoping to win big.

The Powerball now sits at around $248 million after no winning ticket was drawn on Wednesday.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday.

A lucky player got a Mega Millions second-prize ticket for $1 million back on Jan. 26.

Business owners tell News 12 that since that second-place prize ticket was won, more people have been stopping in to get their tickets.
