Residents say an out of service elevator in their 2240 Walton Ave. building has caused safety concerns for months.
There is a summons from the Department of Buildings taped to the front door, and residents say they have called 311 for help and that nothing has helped.
News 12 reached out to Fordham Bedford Housing who oversees the building but did not hear back.
Right now, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development reports over 100 complaints in the last two years. Six of them are active, but not for elevator repairs.
