Hazmat crews responded to a call at the Bronx River Houses Sunday.
Officials tell News 12 that a few residents noticed a “weird” smell just before 12 p.m.
Seven people were treated for inhalation issues, with six of them being taken to Jacobi Medical Center. None of them are in serious condition.
There is no word yet on what caused the smell.
