Community members honored cyclists killed in traffic accidents during the ninth annual "Ride of Silence."
The bike ride tour of ghost bike memorials served as a memory for those died.
Ghost bikes are bikes painted white and chained to sign posts at locations cyclists have lost their lives.
David Morales, a resident, told News 12 how the initiative helps him reflect.
"When you see a white bike…you take a second of thought," he said.
Sunday’s ride in the Bronx visited ghost bikes in Concourse Village, one in Hunts Point and one in Throggs Neck.
