There are two schools just a few steps away from the corner of Mosholu Avenue and West 256th Street, but parents tell News 12 that drivers fail to obey street signs that limit turning during the morning rush.

Those parents are hoping a crossing guard could be stationed at that corner.

Video footage sent to News 12 shows drivers turning onto West 256th Street during those morning hours.

The NYPD tells News 12 that it is aware of the complaints and will continue to enforce laws at that location.
