Jewish residents stood together Sunday at the Bell Tower in Riverdale to show support after the Paris attacks.
"We know as Jews what it means to be victims of terror, and we feel with our whole hearts," said Rabbi Steven Exler.
They say they gathered at the monument to raise a voice of conscience for those whose lives were taken with no cause.
Some of the children who attended the event held up flags and signs to show their support.
