Police say they confiscated about 40 marijuana plants inside a Bronx apartment, all because of a routine traffic stop in New Jersey.
They say two Bronx men are facing drug charges after police found marijuana and counterfeit DVDs inside their car during a routine traffic stop.
Police say it happened on the Palisades Interstate Parkway when officials pulled over 39-year-old Robert Sciolo and 48-year-old Terrance Quinn, of the Bronx.
Officials say they had reason to believe the two men were growing marijuana inside their Bronx apartment.
When police obtained a search warrant to Quinn's home, they discovered more than 600 prescription pills and 38 marijuana plants.
Police say they also found more plants during another search in Maybrook.
