The shooting in San Bernardino, California marks the 355th mass shooting in the United States this year. 
The horror in California has happened in 46 other states. 
Last Friday, a gunman opened fire at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood, killing at least three people including a police officer. After hours of chasing and shooting, police caught the gunman.
In June, nine people were killed when a gunman opened fire inside a church in Charleston, South Carolina
And in the tristate area, nearly three years ago, 20 students and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
Officials say San Bernardino County will close most of its offices for the rest of the week.
