The Buckabear wildfire in northern New Jersey will continue, prompting drought concerns.
Weather conditions are perfect for wildfire growth and spread. Forest fire crews are slowly getting a hand in it but could use some help from Mother Nature.
The first of two weather systems approaches the area late tomorrow. The winds ahead of the front should bring slightly more humid air.
Temperatures ahead of this next weather system are warm. Should this front move through earlier than expected, let's say late afternoon or early evening, it's possible there might be enough energy to create thunderstorms. If this system comes in according to guidance, then the sun will be down and the available energy in the atmosphere will diminish somewhat.
Rain showers, primarily in northern New Jersey, are what we would see. Either way, I'm looking at the rain as beneficial. Clouds clear on Friday morning and the weather looks very nice. The second weather system moves through Saturday.
This particular weather event looks to be more state-wide and again... very beneficial.
