Shoppers flocked to Arthur Avenue's fresh food markets Tuesday in spite of the rain.
They came to the open-air shops for bread, meats, cheeses and seafood.
They said parking is nearly impossible on the weekends or holidays, so a rainy day is as good a time as any to visit.
Some shoppers said they came from as far as Queens or New Jersey.
