Residents say ongoing pothole and drainage issues on Shore Road in Pelham Bay remain unfixed, months after a film brought them to light.
In February, News 12 met with the two brothers who produced the film, James and Tommy Breen. In a follow-up interview, they told News 12 they haven't seen any repairs and only recently saw safety barrels placed over some of the potholes.
"It's been a while since the city has been made aware of this now," James Breen said Monday. "As you can see, it's really a Band-Aid."
"It doesn't seem like they are taking it as seriously as they should," he added.
They called for repairs along Shore Road, which is often riddled with water-filled potholes.
City Councilman Jimmy Vacca says the road needs a complete overhaul.
