Indoor dining is set to return on Valentine's Day, but first, restaurants across the city had to grapple with Sunday's winter storm suspending outdoor dining.

Jimmy's Grand Cafe in the Bronx is normally filled with guests, but on Sunday the restaurant was offering takeout and delivery only - thanks to the snowstorm and COVID-19.

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Twitter Sunday morning that outdoor dining would be closed on Sunday due to the weather.

This means that restaurants like Jimmy's have to rely on delivery or takeout for the day, which takes a heavy toll on its profits.

Employees at Jimmy's say keeping the business afloat is a struggle, especially when they're working against the virus and tough weather.

Indoor dining will be back starting in a week - just in time for Valentine's Day.
