Owners of social adult day centers around the city claim the government has given them no guidance on when they’ll be able to reopen or get fully reimbursed for the services they’ve been providing since the coronavirus pandemic forced them to shut down.

Owners of social adult day centers around the city claim the government has given them no guidance on when they’ll be able to reopen or get fully reimbursed for the services they’ve been providing since the coronavirus pandemic forced them to shut down.
Owners tell News 12 they have been running these services from their own pockets after insurance reimbursements have been slashed by more than 50%--with rent and staff salary bills piling up.
News 12’s Justine Miller talks more about how they say this is a life or death situation.
