Volunteers are at CS55 Saturday to finish the new jungle-themed library thanks to a grant from the Home Depot Foundation.
This will be the first time this library has been open since it closed 10 years ago due to funding and space needs.
Principal Luis Torres says he hopes that this library inspires life-long love of reading for his students.
The library will serve students and teachers at the school. Many of the students come from low-income backgrounds.
