Limited-edition Mars Blackmon Air Jordans sold out Friday at director Spike Lee's Brooklyn headquarters in Fort Greene.

The director posted on social media Thursday, saying he'd have an "extremely limited" amount for sale at $300 a pop. They sold out in hours.

News 12 is told that about 30 pairs of Jordans were available.

Prospective buyers said it looked like a thousand people had showed up to purchase a pair. Some waited in lined since midnight, and some even waited since 6 p.m. Thursday.

Lee didn't wish to speak on camera about the launch, but he did take some pictures with officers from the NYPD's 88th Precinct and with lots of fans.
