NYPD members and loved ones said their final goodbyes Saturday to an NYPD officer that died from apparent suicide.

NYPD Officer Johnny Rios, 35, was the eighth NYPD officer to have died by suicide this year, officials say.

More than 100 mourners gathered at St. Margaret of Crotona Church on Riverdale Avenue for the funeral Mass.

Rios had been on detail at Yankee Stadium around the time of his death. Police say he died by suicide at his home in Yonkers early Tuesday morning.

Neighbors told News 12 Rios had just gotten engaged. Rios was interred at Oakland Cemetery.
