A new art installation at City Point Brooklyn is drawing the eyes of many as it shares one story at a time.

"It's a collection of handwritten, anonymous stories that people share from their own lives and experiences. There's over 60,000 stories I've collected all across the country," explains Brandon Doman, founder of the 'Stranger Project."

He has curated instillations across the country for over 10 years.

"Some of the stories are funny, some of them are emotional, it's really great. I get to meet everyone that writes. and it's just been an incredible opportunity to meet all these people," Doman says.

While many may do their holiday shopping, Doman says that might be delayed as some can't stop reading.

"People spend sometimes hours reading. Anyone that reads has an opportunity to share their story if they choose to," Doman says.

During an unprecedented year, there's one topic that's on the minds of many.

"This is the first time that many of these stories being shared, sort of orbiting the topic of the pandemic. There all so incredibly unique, some of them are coming from a place of joy and hope, and some of them are challenges people faced." Doman says.

As stories hang side by side with holiday lights shining bright, throughout the instillation, Doman says he wants people to know one thing.

"Everyone has a story, and this is just a chance to share it," Doman says.
