Students hold peace block party at Bronx high school
Students at Fannie Lou Hammer High School held a block party to celebrate peace Thursday.
The event was held at the school and was started to advocate a violence-free and drug-free lifestyle for students.
Students participated in basketball games, double dutch and ping pong.
The event is intended to connect students with local organizations who provide leadership opportunities for positive engagement.
