Frosty nights ahead before a potential storm system in Brooklyn

Temperatures are running cooler than usual for late October though. Today will feature patchy morning fog, lows in the 40s, and highs in the mid-50s. The workweek starts off chilly, with highs struggling to rise above the mid-50s after a start in the frosty 30s. As high pressure moves out Monday, a low-pressure system tracking through the Southeast will bring increasing rain chances from Tuesday through the end of the week. The wettest day of the week may be Thursday with conditions hopefully improving by Halloween night. Stay tuned as we fine tune the forecast!
TROPICAL UPDATE: Hurricane Melissa continues to be a strong, powerful and slow-moving storm battering the Caribbean. It is forecast to become a major hurricane over the next few days. The forecast track, as of now, does not call for any direct impacts to the continental US.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with patchy fog. Lows in the upper 40s.
SUNDAY: Similar to Saturday. Highs in the upper 50s. Mix of sun and clouds.
MONDAY: More clouds. Highs in the low to mid 50s.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Showers possible, highs in the 50s.
THU-FRI: Rain and wind possible. Highs in the 50s.
