Taxi and Limousine Commission drivers will see a raise in their base pay for delivery routes.

TLC drivers that sign up to deliver food to New Yorkers in need will be paid $53 per route rather than hourly starting Sunday.

Drivers will be given $40 for base pay, plus $13 for expenses. They can use their personal cars and do multiple routes.

The goal of the change is to help drivers make more money.
