A swarm of bees took over a hot dog stand in Times Square Tuesday.
The bees descended on a hot dog stand at 43rd Street and Broadway in the afternoon.
The NYPD's beekeepers responded and safely removed 25,000 bees.
Bee experts say an overcrowded hive on a humid day caused them to relocate while scout bees were out looking for a new permanent home.
The NYPD beekeepers tweeted that the bees were relocated to an apiary on Long Island.
