Late afternoon thunderstorms are expected to hit New York City today.
Saturday has the risk of severe thunderstorms around 4 p.m.and temperatures at 87 degrees.
News 12 meteorologists say it is possible the storms will bring damaging winds and periods of heavy rain.
Scattered thunderstorms are also expected tonight with temperatures at 74 degrees.
A slight chance of showers is expected for Sunday during the day with temperatures at 89 degrees.
