Ex-Satanist John Ramirez shocked the world when he claimed his discovery of hell in 2014.
Ramirez claims he went to hell and that the devil was trying to end his life before God stepped in and protected him.
In an exclusive interview, Ramirez tells News 12 that he was trained to be a Satanic cult (Santeria and Spiritualist) high ranking priest in New York City that cast powerful witchcraft spells and controlled entire regions.
The question is, what exactly led Ramirez to hell in the first place? He says it all stems from an early age. Ramirez says he grew up despising his father for his careless disregard of his family.
He also says his father was the first to introduce him to Satanism. Ramirez says he remembers his father setting their living room on fire to perform rituals and more.
Ramirez says he looked for love and validation and eventually found it in what he says was a "family" of witches and warlocks. However, Ramirez says before his initiation to the dark side, he sought refuge in the church.
He says he attended church one night in search of God, but that when the pastor offered prayers, he skipped Ramirez. He says this made him feel discouraged to lean on "God."
All of this reached a boiling point on the night he says he sold his soul to the devil in a blood-soaked ritual. Ramirez says he would actively recruit souls during those dark times, but that an out-of-body experience changed his life forever.

John was not a member of the Official Church of Satan.
