Victims named in Trenton block party shooting as gunmen remain on the run

Two people killed in a Trenton block party shooting have been identified as authorities continue searching for the gunmen.

The victims were identified as 42-year-old Anthony Howlett and 33-year-old Tyasiah West, according to prosecutors.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning during a block party on Locust Street.

Monday's coverage

Multiple gunmen opened fire on a crowd of about 100 people, authorities said.

Ten people were shot.

Howlett and West died from their injuries.

Eight other victims were wounded. Three remain in critical condition, authorities said.

No arrests have been made, and the gunmen remain on the run.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses.
