yesterdayPolice say at least two people who were dressed in NYPD sweatsuits restrained occupants during a home invasion robbery in Country Club.
The incident happened this morning in the vicinity of Country Club Road and Polo Place.
Police say they are searching for two white men in their 50s or 60s who fled the scene in a white BMW. Police recovered the stolen white BMW on Bruckner Boulevard.
According to officials, the Villa Maria Academy went into a soft lockdown just down the road due to the home invasion.
No other information has been released at this time.
