The driver of a U-Haul van backing out of a driveway in Fieldston caused some scaffolding to collapse after striking a pole, firefighters say. 

The incident occurred at 210 W. 251st St. 

Officials say the structure would have fallen into the street if it wasn't being propped up by a telephone wire. 

There were no injuries. The Buildings Department and scaffolding company were notified and will be making assessments of the damage.
