Long-awaited warm temperatures returned to the borough Monday.
News 12 was on Arthur Avenue where people shed the scarves and winter coats for spring jackets and sneakers.
The mass melting of snowbanks is also a positive for the borough's handicapped population and dogs who had their paws irritated by salt on the sidewalks.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week.
