For the first time since 2019, the West Indian American Day Parade was back in full force.
Music and dancing took over the scene, with everyone from News 12's very own talent to Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso joining in on the fun.
Elaborate people in costumes were on full display as well, with some of the more intricate designs weighing up to 70 pounds!
Paradegoers and participants alike were met with the delicious smells of varying Caribbean foods that were for sale all along the parade route.
Eastern Parkway turned into a full-blown Caribbean celebration, with even the NYPD commissioner, mayor, and governor joining in on the party.
