The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the
Food and Drug Administration announced on Saturday that children as young
as 6 months old are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna
and Pfizer.
The White House COVID-19 Response Team is set to answer the
questions and concerns of parents nationwide regarding the vaccine clearance on
Tuesday.
Children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years old were
the last group of Americans to become eligible for the COVID-19.
Mayor Eric Adams’ office says that this age group of
children in New York City could start getting the vaccine as early as
Wednesday.
