A woman had her pocketbook stolen out of the East End on Wednesday morning,

The victim was on North Phillips Avenue near Windermere Court in Speonk around 9 a.m.

Southampton Town Police tell News 12 she was pushed to the ground from behind and robbed.

No weapon was reported to be displayed or used during the incident.

Detectives responded to the area to investigate, while Suffolk police launched their helicopter to try to locate the person responsible.

No arrests have been made at this time.
