People who live near Katonah Avenue and East 237th Street in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx say the remnants of a construction project on their block is not only an eyesore, but also dangerous.
Neighbors say they haven't seen Con Edison crews working on the road in weeks.
They say people are throwing their trash in the pile already filled with splinted wood and old pipes, adding to the eyesore.
A Con Edison spokesperson told News 12 they have permits to work at the location until Oct. 18.
After the company finishes permanent repairs to the street, they will remove the equipment.
