For those looking to tune in to the Yankees vs. Red Sox game and witness Yankees'-own Aaron Judge's potential record-breaking homerun hits, they'll need to sign up for Apple TV+.
According to the MLB, Friday night's game will air only on Apple TV+ and not on local cable providers.
The MLB makes it clear to viewers the game can be watched for free as long as they launch the Apple TV app and log in with their Apple ID. An Apple ID is required to sign into the streaming app.

Aaron Judge is just two homeruns away from setting a new record in the American League for home runs in a season. Judge became the sixth person to hit 60 home runs in an MLB season. He was unable to hit the 61st homerun Wednesday night but will get another chance in Friday's Yankees vs. Red Sox game.
Judge now leads the American League in batting average, RBIs and homers, making him the first player since Miguel Cabrera in 2012 to lead in all three triple crown categories.
