Man claims thieves stole up to $25,000 worth of his camera equipment in Williamsbridge
A man who moved to the U.S. from Eastern Europe says thieves stole up to $25,000 of his camera equipment on Friday.
Dritero Komati says his car was parked in front of his home at 1 a.m. when two men propped open the front door and trunk, stealing the equipment.
Komati says he came to the U.S. to become a photographer. He says bought the equipment by working numerous jobs.
Cameras outside the home caught two men walking past his vehicle in Williamsbridge. He says they later broke into his car and stole what was inside.
The car didn't appear to have any damage. He says detectives are working on getting his equipment back.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
