4 and 5 trains now up and running after cars detach in Mott Haven

The 4 and 5 train service is back on track for the morning commute after subway train cars detached at the East 149th Street station Sunday evening.
According to the MTA, the trains brakes activated forcing the third and fourth car to come apart just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The station is known to be very busy all times of the day. It's unclear how many people were on the train at the time.
An MTA spokesperson tells News 12 riders were evacuated safely and nobody was hurt.
