Seven additional pools opened across the city Saturday as residents are still searching for ways to battle the heat.
Sunset Pool in Sunset Park and Crotona Pool in the Bronx are just two of 15 pools that are open across the five boroughs.

All city pools are operating at a reduced capacity and safety protocols are in effect. Residents are urged to keep 6 feet apart and wear face masks while around pool facilities.

The numbers of pools that reopen will be limited, according to the New York City Parks Department.

The department also plans to have a wristband method in place if they see a high number of visitors.

City pools are open seven days a week with two sessions available to the public. The first session is between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the second session is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
