Dozens gathered in Norwood Sunday for the second annual Autism Acceptance Event with a focus on fun and help for families.
The event featured sensory-friendly games and booths for resources for families with disabilities.
This year’s event was run by Genesis Morillo’s new nonprofit, Leaving a Mark on the Spectrum.
“We need to be the voice for these children so that they feel accepted,” says Morillo.
