A Brookfield family says they received a racist letter in the mail due to a Black Lives Matter sign in their yard.
"The BLM looting, rioting, ghetto negroes are jungle savages who have not evolved. They're barely down out of the trees,'" the letter reads.
Kara Messenheimer says no one signed it, but the signature of racism was unmistakable.
"It was obviously directed at us, at the sign that we had," says Messenheimer.

She says the letter has had a surprising benefit. Since Messenheimer posted it on Facebook, more than 100 people showed up for Brookfield's first ever Black Lives Matter rally.
"I have at least 30 people who have requested signs, multiple signs, for their yard," she says.
Police say they're aware of this incident, but at this point, it's not being investigated as a crime.
