The freezing temperatures are here to stay for a little while and Brooklyn residents are finding new ways to beat the bitter blast.

"Get some gloves and a hat because it's really cold," said Brent, of East Flatbush. "I have a really heavy, warm coat on, but it's still really cold."

Visible ice was seen at the entrance of several subway stations across the borough, making for slippery conditions.

News 12's Daniella Rodriguez braved the elements and spoke with people about the frigid weather.
