Runners aren't the only ones preparing for Sunday's 50th annual New York City Marathon.

A total of 30,000 participants are expected to run the marathon, prompting business owners located along the route to prepare for the large crowds.

Thousands are also expected to come out to cheer their friends and family on during the race, leaving some business owners excited for the potential business.

Alfredo Angueira, of Beatsro in Mott Haven, says he's prepared things like BOGO specials for the crowds.

"It's a great feeling to be able to provide something to people who have been for the last year kind of caged in…To be able to provide the music, the food. It's being a part of the marathon ourselves," said Angueira.

Runners will take their marks in Staten Island and cross the finish line in Central Park in Manhattan.
