Celebrities, organizations and volunteers are participating in the "mass bailout” movement.
The movement is to help those accused of crimes who cannot afford bail.
Singer French Montana joined the movement at Vernon C. Bain Correction Center in the Bronx, and said he came to free someone who should have never been caged in the first place.
Montana then visited Boogie Down Grind Cafe to learn more about mass incarceration.
The project is headed by Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization, which is trying to free woman and teens from city jails, including Riker’s Island this month.
