Community groups and elected officials rallied Tuesday to end gun violence nearly a week after several shootings in the Bronx.

Community groups and elected officials rallied Tuesday to end gun violence nearly a week after several shootings in the Bronx.
Five people were shot Wednesday in Melrose on Courtlandt Avenue between 151st and 152nd streets. There were also shootings in Longwood and Pelham Bay.
Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is asking for more funding for community groups pushing for peace.
Police arrested 21-year-old Ryan O'Neil Ramdhan on charges of attempted murder in connection to the Pelham Bay shooting.
Police are searching for Amari Rolle in connection to the Melrose shooting. According to reports, he is 17 years old and a suspected gang member.
