Federal agents say they took Cross Island Fruits Owner Joseph Rossi into custody after he ignored orders from a federal court to cooperate with an investigation into his company's pay practices.
They want to see if the practices comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
A request was also made by the Federal Labor Department.
