One of the biggest eating days of the year, many are in search of healthy food alternatives for this year’s Super Bowl.
Dr. Tonya Hunt, a registered dietitian from St. Barnabas Hospital, says there are several simple, tasty alternatives to the unhealthy foods we tend to eat during the Super Bowl.
Vegetables, water and baked chicken wings are must-have alternatives for game day.
Hunt suggests serving lemonade instead of soda and popcorn instead of chips.
"Hopefully you'll be full," said Dr. Hunt. "It's wholesome and you can make it yourself."
