High school students will now be able to receive discounts at the Mall at Bay Plaza.
New York City Councilmember Andy King announced that students will be able to get the discounts on Fridays.
Teens who want to receive discounts need to show their IDs at the mall.
King says the idea came after having conversations with high school students in the district.
