A Bronx bus driver has been accused of fondling his privates while on a video call with a minor, according to the criminal complaint obtained exclusively by News 12.
Bus operator Jery Polanco, 47, allegedly watched the naked victim, who appears to be a 9-year-old girl, dance “in a sexually suggestive fashion and expose her intimate parts” on video while he can be seen touching his exposed private parts, according to the criminal complaint.
Police obtained a copy of the video call, which they say the Metropolitan Transportation Authority employee was engaged in back on Aug. 1.
Investigators say Polanco took part in the provocative call from inside his Bronx home. Authorities are looking for a second person accused of encouraging the minor to participate in the sexual performance while Polanco watched on video.
Polanco was arraigned in Bronx criminal court Monday night and charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child and endangering the welfare of a child. He is expected back in court Jan. 10.
The MTA released a statement saying, "The alleged conduct of this bus operator is disturbing and inconsistent with the values of New York City Transit and he has been withheld from service in contemplation of dismissal.”
